The Department of Social Work organized the Graduation Ceremony for the MSW Batch 2023–2025 on Thursday, 25th September 2025.The program was conducted with great enthusiasm and reverence, marking an important milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students.
The ceremony commenced with a solemn Prayer led by the Department Coir, setting a graceful and uplifting tone for the day.
Ms. Kesiya Mariya Jacob, Department Secretary, extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
The Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. Sr. Pradeepa CMC, Manager, who emphasized the value of education and service in the field of social work.
The keynote address was given by Dr. Mathew Kanamala, HOD, Department of Social Work, St. Joseph College, Moolamattam, and Director, IPCAI. He inspired the graduates to pursue their professional journey with dedication, compassion, and integrity.
The formal Graduation Ceremony began with the Capping performed by Dr. Mathew Kanamala, followed by the Certificate Distribution by Dr. Sunil T. K., Principal. The graduates received their honors with pride and joy.
The Oath was administered by Mrs. Reena James, Managing Director, Grace Care, who guided the graduates to pledge their commitment to ethical and dedicated social work practice.
Special awards were presented to recognize outstanding contributions:

Best Social Worker – Awarded by Dr. Sr. Pradeepa CMC to Mr.Athul Aji.
